By Anas Abdullahi. The Nasarawa State House of Assembly Ad-hoc committee on COVID-19 has today held a closed door meeting with the state Auditor General Rayyanu Lamus.

The meeting was a followed up to the invitation of the committee to the state Auditor General to make some clarifications on funds the state received so far to fight corona virus pandemic.

Briefing newsmen shortly after the meeting,the chairman of the committee and member representing Lafia central Hon Dahiru Angibi said the committee had a fruitful deliberation with the Auditor General.

“He has honoured our invitation,he make some clarification on areas we asked questions,we are satisfied with his presentation and he also presented documents we requested for.

“We understand that the state received lots of donations from foreign agencies to fight the pandemic as a result of the efforts put in place by the task force on COVID 19. For now I will say so far so good”,Hon Angibi added.
