Senator Al-makura Provides Solar Street Lights To Some Communities In Nasarawa South
Senator Umaru Tanko Almakura (Taal), has commissioned and handed over some solar-powered street lights, to communities of Azara, Adudu, Agwatashi, Keana, Doma and Arikya in Nasarawa South Senatorial District
Sen. Almakura, represented by Ambassador Designate Henry Omaku, disclosed that the welfare of people of Nasarawa South remains his priorities.
Amb. Omaku said Sen. Almakura is always happy touching the lives of his constituent communities, adding that since Sen. Almakura’s election to the Senate in 2019, he places priority to attending to the needs of his constituents across the senatorial district.
Community and opinion leaders across the senatorial district commended Sen. Almakura for the help he rendered to see to the completion of the project, describing it as the best of its kind ever provided in the communities, and promised to replicate same in other communities.
He assured of the quality of the project and guaranteed its functionality, adding that Sen. Almakura is equally disposed to assisting in maintenance of the project when the need arises,
Responding, the Paramount Ruler of Agwatashi Chiefdom, Dr. Osoho of Agwatashi couldn’t hide his happiness about what Sen. Almakura has been doing for his community, in terms of provision of electricity. Sen. Almakura earlier provided the community with transformers, connected them to national grid and solar street lights. The Principals of FGGSS Keana and Govt. Science and Technical School Doma both thanked Senator Al-makura for providing Solar Street lights to their schools.
