The former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alhaji Musa Ahmed Mohammed, has lauded Gov. Abdullahi Sule for the payment of severance package to the members of the fourth assembly in the state.

Ahmed Mohammed gave the commendation while he led other members of the fourth assembly on a ” thank you visit to the governor in government House, Lafia on Wednesday.

Ahmed Mohammed said that the visit was to appreciate the governor for paying the backlog of emoluments being own the former members of the assembly.

” We are here on a thank you visit and to appreciate you for the payment of our severance.

” We are also here to identify with you on your commitment to attract investors as well as pursue the socio-economic interest of Nasarawa State.

” We want to assure you of our support to enable you succeed, ” he said.

The former speaker called on the people of the state to support Gov Sule’s administration to succeed.

Responding, Gov. Sule, who was overwhelmed with the visit and show of solidarity, especially as it cuts across party lines, assured the former legislators that his administration will always welcome their inputs in ensuring that government meets the yearning and aspirations of the people of the state.
