The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has officially recieved the former Minority Leader of the House, Hon Danladi Jatau ( Kokona West) from Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) to All Progressives Congress ( APC).

Balarabe Abdullahi while reading the defection letter of Hon Jatau during the House proceedings in Lafia today assured him of equal rights in the party.

He has commended the former minority leader for taken the right decision in joining the ruling party.

” I want to congratulate you. You have taken the right decision.

” We consider you as member of APC and I want to assure you of equal rights and opportunities.

” We have catch a big fish, “Shark,” he added..

The speaker said that APC is a party of unity and development.

It would be reported that at the moment, out of the 24 members APC have 19 members, PDP have 4 , while ZLP have one.

In another development,the Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi has expressed his profound appreciation to God Almighty, members and staff of the house as well as the entire citizens of the state for their prayers and show of concern when Hon. Ismail Danbaba (APC Nasarawa Central) was kidnapped and his subsequent released praying God to prevent any future reoccurrence.
