
2023 : Gov. Sule Remains the best man for the job, says Hon Angibi.
Hon Abdullahi Dahiru Angibi, member representing Lafia Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly has called on the people of his constituency and the state at large to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule beyond 2023.
This, he said, was to enable them enjoy more dividends of democracy and for the overall development of the State emphasizing that Governor Sule still remain the best option for the state considering his achievements in both security, infrastructure and human capital development.
Hon. Angibi made the call during the Turbaning Ceremony/ Awareness Magazine Launching and 18 years Anniversary of Alhaji Saleh Muhammad Angulu, the Village Head( Dakacin ) of Agyaragu in Lafia Local Government Area of the State.
Angibi, Chairman, House Committee on Public Account has congratulated the village head for clocking 18 years on the throne.
” His Highness is a good man, man of the people as you can see people from far and near graced this occasion.
” We are proud of his leadership style and we will continue to pray for his good and sound health, ” Angibi said.
Angibi, has also congratulated the coronated traditional title holders and urged them to continue to contribute their quota positively to the development of the chiefdom and the state at large.
He has assured of his continued readiness to represent the people of his constituency well at the state legislature.
The lawmaker has called on the people of his constituency to continue to support him to succeed.
” I also want to call on the people of my constituency and the state at large to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration to succeed beyond 2023,” he said.
Also speaking, the Emir of Lafia, Retired Justice Sidi Bage while congratulating the traditional title holders on their coronation urged them to continue to support their chiefdom and the state at large to succeed.
The Emir of Lafia, who was represented by Makungujin Lafia, Alhaji Hassan Wakili has urged the people of Agyarayu and other Nigerians to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live in peace irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.
On his part, Alhaji Saleh Muhammad Angulu, the Village Head ( Dakacin) of Agyaragu said that he has decided to turbaned them with different traditional titles of the chiefdom due to their support and positive contributions to the development of the chiefdom.
” I urge you to continue to support and contribute positively to the development of the chiefdom.
” I also urge you to continue to be loyal to the chiefdom as the sky will continue to be your limit,” he said
Angulu also called on other stakeholders and people of the chiefdom to emulate them by contributing their quota positively to the development of the chiefdom and the state at large.
The village head has called on the people of the chiefdom to continue to live in peace, be their brother’s keepers and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
It would be reported that the event had in attendance Prof. Akaro Mainoma, the former Vice Chancellor, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Alhaji Musa Ahmed Muhammed, former Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Mr Yakubu Ubangari, former SUBEB Secretary among others
Those coronated with traditional titles include Hon Mohammed Saidu Haruna as Ubangari Agyaragu, Mr. Abbashi Emma as Galadima Agyaragu, Dauda Saleh Angulu as Adon Gari Agyaragu, Mallam Ahmadu Abdullahi as Ciroma Agyaragu, Dr Sunday Audu as Garkuwa Aygaragu, Mallam Baba Palaru as Turaki Agyaragu and Abdullahi Yahaya as Walin Agyaragu among others.
