The Three days Workshop of Industrial Training Funds (ITF) has been organized for the staff of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Nasarawa State, with the theme “Work Ethics Value Re- Orientation and Organization Productivity.”
The training Workshop which held at the SDGs hall Lafia recently was aimed among other things to equipped the participants with the knowledge on moral principles that guide behervoirs on the conduct of their activities, and to change the perspectives and atitudes of the staff toward public work.

The SSA on SDGs represented by the Director of Finance,
Mr Daniel Azaya. In his opening remarks said, the workshop was meant to bring all the interest of the staff together and to educate them toward creating awareness with the purpose of enhancing productivity and values, just as he thanked the Industrial Training Funds for organizing the workshop to equipped staff for utmost performances.

The Training Officer, Ismaila Akambi who was a resource person during the program said, the objective of the programe was to re-awakening their thinking and putting things in right place, stressing that, Work Ethics was a principle that govern a person’s behervoir in the conduct of his activities.
According he, the standard of work ethics include Attendence, Professional Competency, discipline, appearance, team work, productivity and communication among others respectively.

The Area Manager, Mr. Garba Hassan. Who dwelled his lecture on corporate governance and team bonding, stressed the need of team work with a view to building moral reputation and lagacy and to increase success rate for financial performance

“The key to enhance productivity is to understand the corporate vision by aligning your thinking with the corporate objective, be a good communicator, a good team player and manage available resources is a key to productivity” he posited.

Some of the participants who spoke to Nasarawa Eye attested that, the training was educative, and eye opener. Adding that they will make use of the lesson learned in the program towards achieving Organisational goals.

Highlights of the workshop were the Paper Presentations by other resources persons and the presentation of Certificate to the participants.
