This assurance is contained in a press release signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ramhan Nansel.
DSP Nansel quotes the state’s Commissioner of Police (CP) Adesina Soyemi as urging all Muslim faithful, fun seekers and the general public to be security conscious during Sallah and to report any uspicious criminal elements or activities to the Police.
Citizens are advised to direct distress call to 08112692680, 08108795930, 08037461715. While felicitating with Muslims on the Eid-el-Kabir festival, CP Soyemi urged them to use the period for sober reflection as well as offer prayers for peace and unity of the country.
