Gov Sule To Speak At Chatham House London On Health Care For Vulnerable In Nasarawa

Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi A.Sule is to participate at a high-level discussion on Universal Health Coverage in Nigeria: Optimising Institutional Opportunities and Partnerships for Success.

Engr Sule is honouring an invitation by host of the event, Chatham House in collaboration with the Centre for Universal Health’s Public Health Africa Policy Forum.

In statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to governor Abdullahi Sule, Malam Ibrahim Addara, said Public Health Africa Policy Forum is using the platform of Chatham House to convene high-level policymakers from Nigeria with global health partners and other public health stakeholders to discuss the current policy and implementation challenges and offer viable options and solutions for improvement and success.

The statement further stressed that high level engagement will also
Identify options for global collaborative efforts and opportunities for working together to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes in Nigeria.

It noted that Gov Sule is expected to speak on the topic “Leaving no one behind: Improving healthcare for vulnerable people in Nasarawa State” with a view to sharing ideas and experiences towards better collaborative actions.

While indicating that global leaders in health, economics and politics will be at the event to encourage a new generation of Universal Health Reforms.

Engr. Sule is however scheduled to speak at the opening of the event on the 23rd September 2022 at Chatham House in London.
