Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has stated that opposition parties in Nasarawa state are afraid of his business intellect in terms of wooing investors to the state. Speaking while addressing APC supporters at the on going state wide campaign rally, Governor Sule stressed ” I am businessman who has come to manage the resources of the state in prudent manner, such that today we can pay salaries of our workers without waiting for allocation from Abuja. While stating that Nasarawa State is on the path of self sustaining, Governor Sule, called on the people to reelect him for the second term. He pointed out due largely to the increased in the internally generated revenue Nasarawa State can now boast of paying across both the state the the local government areas, two months salaries even if there is a delay in the disbursement of federal allocation. Governor Sule stressed further that in Nasarawa state there is a relative peace however said that his administration has in the last three and half years raised the bar in both infrastructure and social development, noting that these has left an indelible marks on the citizens of the state. Governor Sule whose campaign grand finale is currently on going in Lafia, promised to continue to cater for the people of the state.
