New Year Message: NSHA Speaker Urges Nigerians To Do Right Things For Nation’s Growth, Development

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has urged Nigerians to always do the right things at all times for peace, unity and development of the country.

This is contained in his new year message he personally signed and issued to newsmen in Lafia today.

He said that if Nigerians do positive things at all times, it would not only promote peace and unity, but would also promote growth and development in the country.

According to him, ” Let us not forget, it is the pick of the election period and I believe when everyone do the right thing at his or her own end as a patriotic Nigerian, it will be better for us all and all shall starts and ends well, that is my believe”

” I Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly wish to extend my good will message to the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR and the entire Nigerian Citizenry.

” My heart felt good will also goes to our Amiable Governor, His Excellency the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State Engr. Abdullahi Sule, our political, traditional and spiritual leaders as well as the entire people of Nasarawa State for a successful completion of the year 2022

” And ushering in the new year 2023 which despite challenges we make steps forward in the last year and the new year 2023 by God’s grace looks more promising and rewarding.

” I want to use this medium to express my special appreciation and gratitude to God Almighty for the gift of life,” he said.

He congratulated President Buhari, Gov. Sule, political class and traditional rulers among other citizens for their contributions to the development of the state and the country at large.

“I congratulate Mr president, I felicitate with my Governor and all our leaders at different levels, be they Political, Traditional or Religious, as well as all others in different segments of our society and the entire citizens”

“It is indeed a fruitful and successful year for us in the country despite doubting challenges of insecurity, economy and social living among others. At least, we have made remarkable steps forward with positive progress, no doubt we are not stagnant “

“My goodwill also goes to all Speakers of the 36 State Houses of Assembly in the country and my amiable and distinguished colleagues, the Honourable members of Nasarawa State House of Assembly you all have been their for me, for the Governor and for the State, you are all wonderful,” he added

The Speaker appreciated the entire management and staff of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly for their support, understanding and commitments in taking the House to the greater height.

“I said a big thank you to my bosom friends of the media for all the publicity, cooperation, unity, understanding and sense of maturity exhibited in the cause of our legislative functions, I thank you sincerely

“I also offer my special gratitude to leadership and members of the judiciary, Govt. MDAs, the entire State NLC body, all security agencies, friends of the assembly and the entire citizens of the State as well as well wishers,I appreciate you all

“In summary, may I say you are indeed wonderful and partners in progress, Please, let’s do more in 2023 with prayers, commitments, determination, sacrifices and understanding. We shall make it more greater as the new year looks more promising and more rewarding by the grace of God, ” the Speaker said.

He wished Nigerians a rewarding year

” I wish us all more rewarding year 2023 in peace, unity and progress”

“May the Almighty God bless Nigeria, bless Nasarawa State and bless Nasarawa State House of Assembly,” he said.
