A support group, the A. A Sule Gida Gida has commended the leadership qualities of Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, stressing that every genuine lover of the state, must vote the incumbent during next month general elections.

Leader of the group, Hon Hafsat Abdullahi, made this known when the A. A. Sule Gida Gida, paid a courtesy call at the Government House, on Friday.

Hon. Abdullahi who was a former vice chairperson of Lafia Local Government Area, while extolling the leadership qualities of the Governor, called on genuine lovers of the state, not to waste their votes but to ensure they cast their votes for Engineer Sule.

The group particularly appreciated Engineer Sule for keeping the promise that he made while seeking to become Governor in 2018, especially his commitment to turn around the economic fortunes of the state.

Hon. Abdullahi thanked the Governor for domesticating the Federal Government’s social Intervention programme, where women receive monthly stipend to help them engage I’m meaning commercial ventures.

She expressed appreciation that, through the scheme, women were able to form cooperative groups, where they contribute the money to empower each of their members to start a meaningful business.

The A. A Sule Gida Gida equally appreciated the Governor for embarking on projects that have direct impact on the lives of the people, especially rural roads that is enabling farmers to have access to transport their produce.

The group hailed Engineer Sule’s inroads in health and security, commending the Governor for his unparalleled commitment towards ensuring security, which is favourable to investors that are coming into the state in droves to set up businesses that is bringing employment to youths and women.

The A. A Sule Gida Gida also appreciated the Governor’s giant strides towards improving the internally generated revenue of the state, with salary of workers now being paid even before the end of the month.

Hon. Abdullahi disclosed that, the group undertook a tour of the five local government areas making up Nasarawa South, to canvass support for the reelection of Engineer Sule, where they discovered that the people at the rural areas benefited tremendously from the activities of the state government.

It’s in this regards, that the group decided to honour Engineer Sule with the award of excellence and to honour him for being a God fearing leader who has the welfare of the people at heart.
She promised that her group will not relent as they move from house to house, across wards, streets and markets, to sell the candidature of Engineer Sule, who they said, deserves another term in order to consolidate on the feats already attained.

The group donated campaign materials to the Governor including branded T-shirts and caps.

Responding, Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, appreciated members of the group for not only supporting his administration but also utilizing their resources to solicit for support from the people.

“Thank you for your support and the efforts you are making to garner more support. I thank you for the support you gave yesterday and the support you are giving today. You spend your money going around to meet with the people, as well as produce campaign materials in the form of T-shirts, caps and donate as well as an award,” he stated.

The Governor assured that, his campaign council will look into the request for logistic support made by the group, with a view to assisting the group.
