Supreme Court Declare Omadefu Authentic APC Candidate For Keana State Constituency, Dedicate His Victory To God, Appeal For Massive Turn Out

Member representing Keana Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, has been declared as the authentic candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) for Keana State House of Assembly seat come March 18th. election.

Justice Ogunwumiju Helen, who delivered the judgement today, Thursday dismissed the appeal filed by Hon Mohammed Atose, APC aspirant for the constituency for lacking in merit.

Omadefu, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Information while reacting to the judgement by the supreme Court dedicated his victory to God, the APC and his constituents.

Omadefu, who was in the court, has described the judgement as victory for democracy.

” I want to thank God for my victory. I also want to thank my party, the APC and my constituents for their support.

” Today, the Supreme Court, has affirmed me as the authentic candidate for Keana constituency in the March 18th election.

” This victory is a victory for democracy and it is victory for all Keanas.

Omadefu called on his opponent, Mohammed Atose with his supporters to join hands with him for his victory and the victory of Gov. Abdullahi Sule come March 18.

” I want to call on the people of my constituents to come out en- masse to vote for me and His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule on March 18, 2023.

The lawmaker assured of continous quality and effective representation at the state legislature, if given another mandate come March 18.

On their parts, Barr Olabode Akindele, who represents Hon Omadefu and Barr Musa Danladi, who represents the All Progressive Congress ( APC) appreciated the supreme court for a well delivered judgement.

They have also hailed Hon Omadefu for his victory at the court.

It would be reported that on February 2nd, 2023, the Appeal Court, Makurdi recognized Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu as the authentic APC candidate for Keana constituency for the Nasarawa State House of Assembly election.

Dissatisfying with the Court of Appeal Judgement in favour of Hon Omadefu, Mohammed Atose filed an appeal in the supreme Court which was dismissed today, Thursday.
