As part of efforts towards boosting Islamic education in Lafia the Nasarawa state capital the Executive Chairman of Lafia Local Government Council, Hon Aminu Muazu Maifata has donated a piece of land to Shaikh Dahiru Bauchi foundation, Nasarawa State Chapter for the construction of a Qur’an School and teacher’s residence.

Hon. Maifata who is also the Chairman ALGON in Nasarawa state announced the donation on yesterday when he led leaders of Shaikh Dahiru’s foundation in Lafia to the land along Shendam road Lafia, Opposite Al-Fahim oil.

Hon Aminu Maifata who said he donated the land for the sake of Almighty Allah and for propagation of Islam in Nasarawa state, further pledged to assist the foundation to achieve it’s objectives. While thanking Shaikh Dahiru Bauchi for coming up with the foundation, Hon. Maifata who is also the Deputy ALGON President also commended members of the local chapel of the foundation for their dedication and urged them to sustain the tempo in the interest of Islam. Hon. Maifata who is also the Jarimi of Lafia further called on the people of Lafia to continue to support Engr Abdullahi Sule’ administration for the development of entire Nasarawa state.
