The executive secretary of NAPHDA, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, has appealed to the people of Lafia to always support the administration of Engr. Abdullahi Sule for the overall development of Lafia. Speaking in continuation of his familiarisation tour of Majalisa within Lafia, Dr. Iskilu pointed out that the people of Lafia have more reasons to support Engr. Abdullahi Sule because of the concern he has shown to the people. Dr. Iskilu, who visited Majalisan NEPA today, stressed that being the state capital, tremendous support is supposed to come from Lafia. Dr. Iskilu, who underscores the importance of Majalisa in creating political awareness for people, also advises on the importance of unity. He observed that unity is one of the most important ingredients of development, adding that without unity, no meaningful development could be achieved. He then disclosed that his doors will always remain open for advice and for any constructive criticism. Earlier, the leader of the Majalisan NEPA along Makurdi Road, Malam Aminu Ibrahim, thanked the Executive Secretary for embarking on a familiarisation visit to all Majalisa in Lafia, saying the visit will afford the Executive Secretary the opportunity to know more of his people and for the people to know more about him. While praying to Almighty Allah, to protect and guide the executive secretary, Malam Ibrahim further gave an assurance that they will not relent in offering prayers to him and to the governor of Nasarawa State for a successful tenureship.

Similarly, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh also paid the same visit to Majalisan Inuwan Gwanna in front of the youth centre on Shendam Road, Lafia, where he also solicited support. He observed that people’s support and cooperation are vital to the success of government at both levels, adding that Engr. Abdullahi Sule meant well for the people of Nasarawa State.
