New Year: Senator Wadada Preaches Unity, Peace, Tolerance.

As the New Year 2026 begins, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, Sarkin Yakin Keffi and Magajin Dangin Lafia, has called on the people of Nasarawa State to recommit themselves to unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, describing these values as the bedrock of sustainable development and good governance.
In his New Year goodwill message, Senator Wadada emphasized that Nasarawa State’s greatest strength lies in its diversity. He urged citizens to rise above ethnic, religious, and political differences, stressing that collective progress can only be achieved when people place peace and mutual respect above all divisions. According to him, tolerance, dialogue, and understanding remain the most reliable pathways to long-term stability and prosperity in the state.
The Senator reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to policies and initiatives that promote inclusive growth and people-centered development. He noted that governance must remain focused on improving the lives of ordinary citizens through sound policies, transparency, and responsive leadership.
Senator Wadada also reiterated his full support and loyalty to the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the federal level and Governor Abdullahi Sule in Nasarawa State. He stressed that effective collaboration, harmony, and policy consistency across all tiers of government are critical to delivering meaningful dividends of democracy. According to him, when leaders work together with a shared vision, development becomes faster, more impactful, and more sustainable.
Condemning all forms of violence and insecurity, the Senator underscored that no society can make meaningful progress in an atmosphere of fear. He called for renewed and coordinated efforts to safeguard lives and property, urging security agencies, community leaders, and residents to strengthen cooperation and vigilance in the collective pursuit of peace.
He concluded by wishing the people of Nasarawa State a peaceful and prosperous New Year, reiterating his dedication to purposeful leadership anchored on unity, security, sound policies, and genuine service to the people. Senator Wadada expressed optimism that with collective resolve and shared responsibility, Nasarawa State will continue on the path of peace, progress, and inclusive development in 2026 and beyond.
