In a renewed push toward the 2027 governorship race in Nasarawa State, the Nasarawa North Youth Vanguard for Wadada has been formally inaugurated and has held its first strategic meeting aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilization and political awareness across the zone.
The meeting was held on Saturday at the residence of the convener, Dr. Samuel Paul Audu, along RCM Primary School Road, Nasarawa Egon.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Audu expressed strong commitment to the success of Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu in the forthcoming governorship election. He recalled the tremendous support and assistance he once received from Senator Wadada during his time as a member of the House of Representatives, noting that the goodwill shown to him has inspired his present level of dedication and appreciation.
Dr. Audu condemned ethnic and religious politics, emphasizing that despite not being a Muslim or belonging to Senator Wadada’s tribe, he received sincere assistance from him in a time of need. According to him, this gesture reflects Wadada’s inclusive leadership style.
Describing Senator Wadada as a detribalized politician, Dr. Audu declared his readiness to deploy his personal resources and finances to ensure Wadada’s victory at the polls. He affirmed his determination to spend his money—even to the last kobo if necessary—in support of Wadada’s governorship aspiration in Nasarawa State.
He explained that the primary objective behind the formation of the Nasarawa North Youth Vanguard for Wadada is to tour all parts of Nasarawa North to create massive awareness about Senator Wadada’s virtues, leadership qualities, and track record among the people.
Dr. Audu further emphasized that the group remains fully committed to grassroots engagement, youth mobilization, and sustained sensitization efforts aimed at positioning Senator Wadada as the preferred choice of the people ahead of the 2027 election.
With increasing youth participation and solid backing from committed stakeholders, he pledged continued support for the Nasarawa North Youth Vanguard for Wadada as it advances its political journey toward 2027 in Nasarawa State.
