Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has applauded the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, for what he described as sustainable policies that have transformed the face of the state and aligned development with the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
The senator gave the commendation on Monday evening during an Iftar gathering with stakeholders from Awe Local Government Area, where he interacted and broke his Ramadan fast with community leaders, party officials and supporters.
The meeting, which was part of his ongoing grassroots consultations during the holy month of Ramadan, provided an opportunity for participants to deliberate on issues affecting Awe LGA and the broader development of Nasarawa State.
Senator Wadada also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for implementing policies aimed at stabilising the nation’s economy and strengthening governance across the country. He noted that continued support for both state and federal leadership would ensure sustained progress and development.
Addressing party stakeholders, the lawmaker praised their unity and loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that their commitment had reinforced the party’s structure and cohesion in Awe.
He further used the occasion to solicit support for his gubernatorial ambition, stressing the importance of collective effort and political inclusiveness in moving Nasarawa State to greater heights.
According to him, unity among party members and community leaders remains critical to achieving shared aspirations and consolidating gains recorded at both state and national levels.
Stakeholders at the gathering expressed appreciation for the senator’s outreach and reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the continued progress and development of Nasarawa State.
The Iftar engagement forms part of Senator Wadada’s series of consultations and community interactions across the state during Ramadan.
