Wadada Applauds Sule, Rallies Youths for Peace at Nasarawa Unity Festival

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his policies aimed at sustaining peace, promoting cultural values, and preserving indigenous languages across Nasarawa State.
The senator made the remarks during the Nasarawa North Peace and Unity Festival, where he served as Father of the Day. The event brought together youths, women, and community leaders to promote unity, cultural heritage, and social cohesion in the area.
Speaking at the gathering, Wadada emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and fostering inclusive development, particularly among young people. He urged youths to remain productive and avoid being used as tools for political unrest, stressing that their energy should be channeled toward activities that contribute to the growth and stability of the state.
The lawmaker also highlighted the Human Capital Development component of his HEARTS Agenda, a policy framework focused on education and vocational training. According to him, the initiative is designed to equip young people with practical skills and create economic opportunities that enable them to thrive.
Wadada further reaffirmed his commitment to initiatives that promote unity and development by donating ₦5 million to the event organizers. He noted that supporting such platforms is essential for strengthening cultural identity and ensuring lasting peace in Nasarawa State.
The festival served as a platform for fostering dialogue, celebrating cultural diversity, and reinforcing the collective responsibility of citizens to build a peaceful and united society.
