EPA Backs Sule’s Anointed Successor as 2027 Race Gains Momentum

The Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi A. Sule, on Monday received members of the Eminent Persons Assembly (EPA) from the Nasarawa South Senatorial District at the Government House Lafia.
The delegation was led by  Ambassador Suleiman Azores, who commended the governor for his recent endorsement of Ahmed Wadada Aliyu as his preferred aspirant for the 2027 governorship election in the state.
Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Azores assured Governor Sule of the group’s full backing, pledging their commitment to ensuring the realization of Senator Wadada’s gubernatorial ambition.
The Eminent Persons Assembly is composed of select and influential political stakeholders from across the Southern zone, playing a strategic role in shaping political consensus within the zone and beyond.
The meeting is seen as a significant move in consolidating political support ahead of the 2027 elections.
