Governor Abdullahi Sule has pledged to deploy his full political weight in support of Senator Aliyu Wadada, declaring that he will use his talent, skills, resources, and strength to ensure the senator’s success in the 2027 governorship election.
Speaking at the Nasarawa North stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC), held in Youth Center in Akwanga, the governor emphasized the importance of party loyalty and collective responsibility among leaders. He noted that supporting party candidates is a matter of justice and a core obligation for those in leadership positions.
Governor Sule also used the occasion to address the nature of political competition, stressing that opponents should not be viewed as enemies. According to him, politics is fundamentally about choices and healthy rivalry, where individuals compete over shared aspirations for development and leadership.
“Those who challenge you are not your enemies,” Sule said. “They are looking at the same good thing that you are looking at. It is up to you to prove that you are better.”
The governor highlighted his administration’s achievements, particularly in tackling unemployment, noting that Nasarawa currently records one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country. He attributed this progress not to personal efforts but to teamwork, collective governance, and continued public support.
Sule reaffirms his commitment to strengthening party unity ahead of 2027 elections, urging stakeholders to remain focused on shared goals and to support candidates presented by the APC.
