Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu today Friday, held a series of strategic engagements in Lagos with prominent Nigerian business and political figures, including billionaire businessman Gilbert Chagoury, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, and leading entrepreneur Femi Otedola.
The meetings, described by political observers as part of Senator Wadada’s ongoing consultations and relationship-building efforts, focused on governance, investment opportunities, economic growth, and Nasarawa state development.
Speaking after the engagements, associates of the senator noted that strong leadership goes beyond politics and requires the ability to build strategic relationships, exchange ideas, and learn from individuals who have made significant contributions to business, governance, and nation-building.
The discussions are expected to strengthen Senator Wadada’s vision for economic expansion and sustainable development, particularly for Nasarawa State.
Supporters of the senator believe that if elected governor of Nasarawa State in 2027, Senator Wadada will leverage the relationships and exposure gained from such high-level engagements to attract more investors and development partners to the state.
They noted that Governor Abdullahi Sule has already laid a solid foundation by attracting investments into Nasarawa State, especially in the areas of infrastructure, mining, agriculture, and industrial development. According to them, Senator Wadada intends to build on those achievements by expanding investment opportunities, creating jobs for youths, and positioning Nasarawa as one of Nigeria’s leading destinations for business and economic growth.
Political analysts say the Lagos meetings further highlight Senator Wadada’s growing national network and his commitment to engaging influential stakeholders capable of contributing to the future development of Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large.
