
Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, has congratulated Dr. Sani Omaku, a lecturer at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), on his remarkable achievement of earning a second Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Social Psychology from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
In a congratulatory message, Senator Wadada described Dr. Omaku’s academic feat as a source of pride not only to Doma Local Government Area and Nasarawa State but also to Nigeria as a whole. He noted that obtaining dual PhDs from both a Nigerian and an international institution demonstrates exceptional dedication, intellectual excellence, and commitment to academic advancement.
Dr. Omaku, a native of Alago extraction and a Prince from the revered Ogah royal family of Doma Chiefdom, previously earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Nasarawa State University, Keffi. His latest accomplishment places him among a select group of Nigerian scholars who hold dual doctoral degrees from local and foreign universities.
Senator Wadada praised Dr. Omaku’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and described him as a worthy ambassador of Doma and Nasarawa State. He expressed confidence that the lecturer’s combined expertise in Clinical and Social Psychology would contribute significantly to research, mentorship, and the development of higher education in Nigeria.
The senator also acknowledged Dr. Omaku’s unwavering support and loyalty over the years, describing him as one of his steadfast supporters in Doma whose commitment to community development and progressive ideals remains commendable.
