The Friends Forever Group has paid a congratulatory visit to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Dr. Aliyu Bello, following his election as the substantive Secretary of the Forum of APC Chairmen in Nigeria.
The delegation, led by the group’s Chairman, Alhaji Garba Rosha Mohammed, visited Dr. Bello at his office in Lafia to celebrate what they described as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership and commitment to the party.
Speaking during the visit, Mohammed, a retired Permanent Secretary in the Nasarawa State Civil Service, said the election was a testament to Dr. Bello’s exemplary leadership, unwavering dedication, and significant contributions to the growth and development of the APC in the state.
He noted that Dr. Bello’s commitment to service, integrity, and excellence had earned him the confidence of his colleagues across the country.
“This recognition reflects the trust reposed in your ability to serve effectively. Your election is well deserved, and we are confident that you will continue to distinguish yourself in this new national assignment,” he said.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the Friends Forever Group, Alhaji Rayyanu Bala, a retired Director of Information in the Nasarawa State Civil Service, expressed confidence that Dr. Bello would bring his vast experience, administrative competence, and wisdom to bear in his new role.
He said the group believed the APC chairman would make meaningful contributions toward strengthening the Forum of APC Chairmen and advancing its objectives.
“As you assume this important responsibility, we pray for divine guidance, good health, and continued success. May your tenure be marked by remarkable achievements and enduring progress for the Forum and the party at large,” Bala said.
Responding, Dr. Bello expressed appreciation to members of the Friends Forever Group for the visit, describing them as lifelong friends with whom he had shared a relationship spanning more than five decades.
He urged members of the group to remain united and continue to work as one family in pursuit of common goals.
Dr. Bello also called on the group to remain committed to the political aspirations of Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, whom he described as another longtime friend of over five decades.
He further appealed to members to remain calm in the face of any provocation and to stay focused on promoting unity and the success of the APC.
