The inauguration of the Executive Committee of the Nasarawa State Initiative for Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Ahmed Aliyu Wadada 2027 has been described as a significant step towards mobilising grassroots support across Nasarawa State ahead of the 2027 general elections, as supporters seek to consolidate the Renewed Hope Agenda and strengthen democratic governance.
The inauguration ceremony, held at De 1st Crown Luxury Hotel in Lafia, attracted political stakeholders, party faithful and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who gathered to witness the formal unveiling of the initiative’s executive committee.
Representing the APC governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, Distinguished Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, was the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State on Nasarawa State House of Assembly Liaison and Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors for Nasarawa South Senatorial District, Hon. Barr. Muhammed Ibrahim Alkali, popularly known as “Talban Arikya.”
The event was attended by Chief (Mrs.) Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, daughter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who served as the special guest of honour. She is the Iyalode-General of Nigeria, Grand Patron of the Renewed Hope Basic Education Workbooks Agenda of President Tinubu, and Grand Patron of the Nasarawa State Initiative for Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Ahmed Aliyu Wadada 2027.
Organisers said the inauguration of the executive committee is aimed at strengthening the structure of the initiative and expanding grassroots engagement across the state in preparation for the 2027 elections.
The gathering also reaffirmed the commitment of supporters to the Renewed Hope Agenda, with participants expressing confidence that the initiative would enhance political mobilisation and foster greater participation in the democratic process across Nasarawa State.
