Unguwar Wajen Rabo In Lafia Holds Prayers, Rally for Senator Wadada’s 2027 Governorship


Mallam Umar Abdullahi Namadi has said a special prayer session and solidarity rally held in Unguwar Wajen Rabo, Lafia Local Government Area, was organized on behalf of his principal, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, to demonstrate their support for Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
Namadi made the disclosure on Saturday at the event, which was held behind the E-Library, adjacent to the JAMB Office in Lafia, where residents gathered to express solidarity with the Senator, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Nasarawa State.
The gathering also featured the unveiling of a large billboard endorsing Senator Wadada, alongside the recitation of the Holy Qur’an and special prayers for his success and victory for the APC in the 2027 election.
The event, organized by Namadi, Personal Assistant to the Executive Secretary of the Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency, attracted community and political leaders, as well as residents of the area.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were Prince Abdullahi Adon Gari, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Chieftaincy Affairs and Hakimi of Lafia, and Hon. Ileleh Gayam, Commissioner representing Nasarawa State at the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC), among other stakeholders.
In their goodwill messages, the dignitaries commended Namadi for mobilizing members of the community and urged residents across the state to support Senator Wadada’s ambition to succeed Governor Abdullahi A. Sule in 2027.
They described Wadada as a politician with the capacity, vision and political will to consolidate the gains of the present administration and take Nasarawa State to greater heights.
Namadi, while welcoming participants, reiterated that the gathering was intended to demonstrate the commitment of himself and his principal, Dr. Usman Iskilu Saleh, to the APC candidate.
The event was marked by prayers, drumming and solidarity songs by members of the Angwa Wajen Rabo community.
It ended with prayers for peace, progress and the success of Senator Wadada and the APC in the 2027 Nasarawa State governorship election.
