Leaders representing various ethnic and community groups have expressed their strong support for Engr. Abdullahi Sule and Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu ahead of the 2027 elections, pledging to work collectively for their success.
The groups include the Gudi Youth Progressive and Development Association, Eggon Youth Movement, Mada Youth Development Association, Rindre Youth Development Association, Tiv Youth Movement, Fulani elders and youth leaders, as well as Hausa-Fulani elders and youth leaders.
At a meeting convened to mobilise support for the two political projects, the representatives agreed to put aside their differences and work assiduously towards the emergence and success of Engr. Abdullahi Sule for the Senate and Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu for Governor in 2027.
The leaders said their decision was driven by the need to promote peace, unity, progress and development across their respective communities and areas, stressing that collective action was necessary to achieve meaningful political and socioeconomic development.
They pledged to mobilise their members and supporters at the grassroots and work together throughout the political process, irrespective of ethnic or other differences.
Convener of the meeting, Ibrahim Mohammed Saminu Wadada Gudi, explained that the gathering was organised to demonstrate the groups’ commitment to the political projects of Engr. Abdullahi Sule and Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu.
According to him, the coming together of the various groups was a clear indication that the people were ready to unite behind the two leaders in the interest of progress and development.
Saminu Wadada Gudi urged the participating groups to remain committed, peaceful and focused, saying that their collective support would contribute significantly to the success of the projects in 2027.
The leaders reaffirmed their determination to work assiduously towards the success of both Engr. Sule and Senator Wadada, emphasising that the interest of the people and the development of their respective areas must remain their priority.
