The 2027 Campaign Council of Hon. Mohammed Al-Makura, All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency, has announced plans to hold its inaugural campaign team meeting ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
The meeting, scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Conference Hall of the Nasarawa State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Lafia.
The campaign council, in a public invitation, called on members of the general public, political stakeholders, APC faithful, supporters and well-wishers to attend the meeting.
According to the organisers, the gathering is aimed at formally commencing preparations for the 2027 elections, while providing an opportunity to discuss campaign plans, responsibilities and strategies for achieving victory at the polls.
The council also emphasised the importance of the support, ideas and prayers of stakeholders and supporters as the campaign team begins its activities.
The inaugural meeting is expected to bring together key stakeholders and members of the campaign team as they chart a coordinated path towards the 2027 electoral contest in the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency.
