The Friends Forever Group has declared its resolve to mobilise support for a number of political candidates ahead of the 2027 General Elections, urging its members to work together towards what it described as electoral victory.
In a statement signed by the group’s Public Relations Officer, Aliyu Maisaje Adamu, the group said its members had reached the decision after what it described as “wide consultation and deep reflection.”
According to the statement, the group has adopted four candidates for various elective positions in Nasarawa State.
They are Distinguished Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada for Governor of Nasarawa State; Alhaji Hassan Nalaraba for the Senate; Hon. Mohammed Almakura for the House of Representatives; and Hon. Abubakar Imam Zanwa for the State House of Assembly.
The group said it would operate as “one united team, with one voice and one purpose” in its mobilisation efforts ahead of the elections.
“We shall not sleep, we shall not relent, until victory is achieved,” the statement declared.
Friends Forever described the adopted candidates as “credible, tested and trusted personalities” whom it believes have the capacity to contribute to the development of the people.
The group also called on its members to remain committed to their agricultural activities while participating in political mobilisation, stressing that productive members would contribute to the strength of the organisation.
“We should endeavor to take proper and adequate care of our farms for bumper harvest. A productive member is a strong pillar of the group,” the statement said.
The group further expressed confidence in its Chairman, Alhaji Garba Rosha, describing him as a “dynamic and visionary” leader with wisdom, capacity and proven integrity.
It urged members to remain steadfast, hardworking and committed as preparations for the 2027 elections continue.
The statement concluded with prayers for success, unity and victory in the 2027 elections, while reaffirming the group’s slogan: “Friends Forever — Together We Win.”
