Yanki for Barade Declares Support for Senator Wadada’s 2027 Governorship Bid
NASARAWA STATE — The political group Yanki for Barade has declared its support for Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu ahead of the 2027 governorship election in Nasarawa State.
The group, under the leadership of its principal, Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, Baraden Nasarawa, said its members had unanimously resolved to align with what it described as the “Wadada project.”
In a statement, Yanki for Barade described Senator Wadada as a tested and trusted leader with a vision focused on inclusive governance, youth empowerment, security, and economic development across Nasarawa State.
The group also said its political structure across the state’s 13 Local Government Areas was fully mobilised and prepared to support Wadada’s governorship ambition.
According to the group, its decision was based on its confidence in Senator Wadada’s leadership capacity and his ability to bring different interests together in pursuit of development.
“We, the members of YANKI FOR BARADE, under the leadership of our principal, Rt. Hon. Dr. Musa Ahmed Mohammed, Baraden Nasarawa, hereby align completely with the Wadada project,” the group stated.
Yanki for Barade further called on individuals and political stakeholders across Nasarawa State who share its aspirations to join the movement ahead of the 2027 election.
The declaration adds another layer to the emerging political activities surrounding the 2027 governorship contest in Nasarawa State, as political groups and stakeholders continue to articulate their positions ahead of the election.
The group concluded its declaration with the slogan: “Wadada is the answer! Wadada is the next Governor of Nasarawa State, In Sha Allah!”
