2027: Dr. Faisal Describes Wadada as Tested, Trusted, Globally Exposed.

Former Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaib, has described Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu as a tested, trusted and globally exposed politician, expressing confidence in his HEARTS Agenda to reposition Nasarawa State ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Shuaib, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Nasarawa West, reaffirmed his support for Wadada’s governorship ambition at an event in Lafia, where he urged his supporters and political loyalists to join the Wadada Movement to ensure the party’s victory in the forthcoming election.

He said he was confident that Wadada’s HEARTS Agenda embodied integrity and a strong commitment to the development of Nasarawa State.

Shuaib, who had earlier contested for the APC governorship ticket, withdrew from the race following Governor Abdullahi Sule’s endorsement of Wadada after weeks of consultations.

Explaining his decision to transfer his political structure to the senator, Shuaib said the move was necessary to promote unity and build a result-driven team capable of sustaining democracy and consolidating the development achievements of the Sule administration.

He called on his supporters across the three senatorial zones of the state to fully integrate into the Wadada political structure and work towards ensuring that Nasarawa West produces the next governor.

The former NPHCDA boss also urged party members to support President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates in the 2027 general election.

In his response, Senator Wadada expressed appreciation to Shuaib for his show of support, describing the gesture as a significant step towards strengthening unity within the APC.

He assured party members and supporters that his political project would be inclusive, pledging to carry everyone along irrespective of their political affiliations.

Earlier, zonal leaders of the DFS Movement, Grace Jacob (Northern Zone), Abubakar Daura (Western Zone) and Awotu Ishaya (Southern Zone), declared their total loyalty to the Wadada project and called for the full integration of the DFS political structure into the movement.

The event attracted the APC deputy governorship candidate, Chief Emmanuel Michael Ombugadu; former Secretary to the State Government, Elder Timothy Anjide; former and serving federal and state lawmakers; commissioners; party stakeholders and supporters.
