APC Campaign Council Inauguration: A Defining Moment for Unity, Loyalty and Victory.

By Rayyanu Bala

Today’s inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaign Council in Nasarawa State is more than just another political gathering. It is a significant moment in the political journey of the party and an important call to responsibility for everyone entrusted with the task of steering the APC towards success in the 2027 general elections.

With today’s inauguration expectations are understandably high. The event marks the formal beginning of an important assignment that requires commitment, sacrifice, discipline, loyalty and, above all, unity of purpose.

For every member of the campaign council, today should be regarded as a day of honour, recognition and responsibility. Being appointed to serve on such an important council is not merely a political privilege or an addition to one’s political profile. It is a call to service and an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the future of the party and the state.

For the chairman of the council, His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, the responsibility is even more significant. As the leader he is expected to provide direction and leadership, his role will be central to building a united, focused and result-oriented campaign. His experience, political maturity and leadership will be important in bringing different interests and tendencies within the party together towards achieving a common objective.

However, the success of the campaign council cannot rest on the shoulders of the chairman alone. Every member, regardless of position, political influence or personal relationship with the leadership, has an important role to play. A successful campaign is a collective responsibility, and no single individual can achieve victory without the cooperation and commitment of others.

This is why today’s inauguration should serve as an opportunity for genuine reconciliation and a fresh beginning for all members of the APC family in Nasarawa State.

It is no secret that, like every political party, the APC has its internal differences, competing interests and disagreements. These are not unusual in politics. People will naturally have different opinions, preferences and approaches to issues. However, there comes a time when everyone must look beyond personal sentiments and recognise the bigger picture and our bigger picture here is the 2027 general elections.

I therefore wish to sincerely appeal to every member of the campaign council, party leaders, stakeholders, political appointees, elected representatives, loyal supporters and all those who have worked tirelessly for the growth of the APC to put aside whatever personal grievances, misunderstandings or differences that may exist among us.

Let us remember that our individual ambitions, disagreements and differences must never be allowed to undermine the collective interest of our party and the elections at hand.

The task ahead is bigger than any individual. It is bigger than any camp, faction or personal interest. The ultimate objective must be the success of the APC from top to bottom.

We must work towards securing victory for the party’s presidential candidate, ensuring the success of the gubernatorial candidate and delivering victory for APC candidates contesting for the National Assembly, State House of Assembly.

There should be no room for selective loyalty, internal sabotage, unnecessary rivalry or politics of exclusion. Nobody should feel too important to work with others, and nobody should be made to feel irrelevant because of differences or past disagreements.

The campaign council must be a family where everybody matters, where ideas are respected, where contributions are appreciated and where the collective interest takes precedence over individual considerations.

Our strength as a campaign council lies not in the number of our members or the positions we occupy, but in our ability to organise ourselves, speak with one voice and work together towards a common goal.

Governor Abdullahi Sule and every member of this council must therefore see today’s inauguration as an opportunity to build bridges, restore confidence and inclusiveness.

The campaign council must ensure that its activities go beyond meetings, announcements and ceremonies. It must translate into effective grassroots mobilisation, meaningful engagement with voters, strategic communication and sustained interaction with communities across Nasarawa State.

The people must see a party whose leaders and members are willing to work together, listen to the people and pursue a common political vision.

As preparations for the 2027 general elections are in top gear, every member must understand that the work begins immediately after today’s inauguration. There is no room for complacency. The responsibility demands commitment, sacrifice, strategic thinking and a willingness to place the party’s interest above personal considerations.

Let today be remembered not just as the day the APC Campaign Council was inaugurated, but as the day a renewed spirit of unity, understanding, cooperation and determination took root in the party.

To Governor Abdullahi Sule, the chairman of the council, and every other member appointed to serve, I say congratulations on this important responsibility. May all of us approach this assignment with humility, wisdom, fairness and a genuine commitment to the success of the party.

Let us put our differences behind us, close ranks and work together. Let us move from individual interests to collective responsibility, from political division to genuine unity, and from campaign preparation to purposeful mobilisation.

The APC must win together, and that victory must be pursued together.

May today’s inauguration mark the beginning of a stronger, more united and more formidable APC in Nasarawa State.

APC is one party, one purpose, one direction and one collective determination: victory for APC from top to bottom in 2027.
