Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau is set to host a mega rally in the western zone of the State for Eggon-speaking people.

The rally is to drum support of Eggon people for the joint ticket of Sen. Wadada and Ombugadu.

This and other political issues formed part of resolutions at a stakeholders’ meeting of Eggon extraction from the Western Zone of the State held in his residence in Garaku, Kokona LGA of the State at the weekend.

The meeting which had in attendance the APC Deputy Governorship flagbearer, Emmanuel Ombugadu, is part of the ruling party’s effort to galvanize support ahead of the 2027 general election.

At the meeting, the APC Governorship candidate’s running mate Emmanuel Ombugadu informed his kinsmen that the Eggon-speaking people have been politically eluded for three decades.

This according to him was due to wrong political alignment by his people stressing that it will be illogical to still toe the same path.

He emphasized that the APC remains the pathway to addressing the challenges facing the Eggon people hence the need for them to unite for a common goal.

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau spoke extensively on political equations, development and the need to be focused and form a common front.

The meeting resolved that the Speaker Dr. Danladi Jatau will be hosting a mega rally for the Eggon-speaking people of the Western Zone to woo support for the Wadada/Ombugadu joint ticket.
