Sir, let me start by asking Who is really in charge of Agric Ministry: CBN 0r Your Ministry?

But before I go into details of why asking this question
Hon. Minister,let me appreciate your having the time to explain your own side of the unpleasant encounter, with former President Olusegun Obasanjo,
following my inquisitive Whatsapp inquisition ,related to your grave silence on the monumental corrupt perversions in that unfortunate Agric.Ministry,

Which both concerned stakeholders and keen observers of the sector unanimously conceded to a popular and indisputable allegation making the rounds , at the time of your flamboyantly Yahoo self acclaimed modern farmer was holding the fort,

During which ,your Agricultural Ministry, was, for better or worse, regarded as one of the fertile acres, with high financial turnover , associated with former President Goodluck Jonathan’s toxic corrupt escapades ,which your predecessor’s generous donations was said to have converted the ministry into an auxiliary supply bank , ostensibly for beefing up the former President’s campaign Chest, instead of realising needed funds to augment the productivity level of peasant farmers meagre allocations,
Which speed and pace was affectedly, downgraded and its frequency stepped down,

Leaving the peasants farmers, as the perpetually unfortunate victims of internal discriminations in the Ministry, which for years, outsourced the local farmers,with series of negative policies, which our field reports findings have shown to be deliberately very biased and totally one-sided , in favour of PDP Mafia apparatchiks, whose influence is still very much potent.and diabolically in vogue, despite Jonathan’s exit over three years ago!

However, .be that as it may be,what’s even more disturbingly baffling, as well as inimical to the Buharian Rural Agricultural Sector Facilitation Drive,is the high level of overbearing centralisation of activities, actions, processes and procedures, by the Central Bank Of Nigeria ,the Apex.Bank ,which turgid bureaucracy is said to be responsible ,for the untidy failure to remit, ot at least release .backlogs of an already earmarked and relevantly approved projects,which financial back up implementation appraised Viaments were fully scrutinised and, or endorsed , more than two years ago , but which are now, left , deliberately idle and gathering dusty cobwebs, at the CBN’s ( sabotagiously marked) KIV Vaults,to disguise intended motives,or motivations!

. Peradventure, whatever are the official motives behind these delays, the big question now bugging the minds of curious observers and people with keen interest on the sector,is; who, exactly between the Ministry and the CBN,is truly in charge?

Or is the case of the.proverbial tail wagging the dog in which case,the Nigerian Peasant farmers are still in chains, held hostage, as perpetual victims of a corruptly ruthless and unsympathetically contrived bureaucratic system?

Finally, for those who may have contrary views about my own position on Agriculture which cause has conspicuously become my fanatical obsession , for several reasons and years!

Let those in doubt understand, that,there is nothing personal ,other than the obvious facts about my rural heritage,attached, in situ, with the glorious importance of Agriculture as the most dynamic catalyst that inspires and motivates rapid industrialization and rural transformational growth and changes world and which causal status is responsible for vertical elevation of many countries in Asia, such as China, India and other Asian countries, which catalytic impacts represent, as veritable showpieces for Nigeria, nay the whole of Aftica to behold as practical demonstration of self-centered determination.

In addition, I am also proud to announce and brag, here, as well,about.my involvement, through the NTA, an acronym for Nigerian Television Authority, about the much talked about N200 Billion CBN celebrated Agricultural Loan Facilities, approved by the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Administration,which was,directly or indirectly ,made possible by the supportive roles of the NTA, courtesy of my two Principals,Dr. Tonnie Iredia and Alhaji Usman Magawata,who approved a joint First Nigerian Agricultural Summit I recommended, in collaboration with a Kaduna based Admiral Murtala Nyako Agro -Allied outfit brande as Admiral. Environmental. Care,under the leadership of the most versatile and Rural Agric Sector Advocate you can ever hardly ever find anywhere in the country, the late.Shadrach Madlion,during which event in .July 2008,at the popular Sardauna’s old Northern Nigerian Premier’s residence now called, Arewa House,Kaduna,the unprecedented historic recognition of the Nigerian Agricultural Sector Financial Reforms Support Fund was launched,, therefore, providing both the NTA, as well as its partner, The Admiral Murtala Nyako Environmental Care ,as well as the late Shadrach Madlion, my two successive NTA Directors General- in the persons of both Dr. Tonnie Iredia and Alhaji Usman Magawata, respectively plus my humble self and all the numerous hardworking staff at the NTA Kaduna Network. Centre ,who made this historic event in July 2008 a huge and unprecedented success, have a stake in the glorious influence of our contributions towards making the Nigerian Agriculture profile to reach a higher level of glory and deserve this national bragging rights!
