
By Our Reporter. Alhaji Abdullahi Alhaji Sule, All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, has commended the peaceful conduct of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly polls in the state.
Engr Sule, who voted at the Motor park polling unit in Gudi, also commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the smooth conduct of the elections. While expressing delight with the voter turnout the governorship hopeful said the turnout was an indication of the peoples’ willingness to contribute to the development of democracy in Nigeria.
Engr Sule who expressed happiness for the smooth exercise despite initial setback caused by the delay in the arrival of election materials also appreciated the patience and resilience of the people and urged them to sustain the tempo in the subsequent elections and appealed to the people to turnout in their numbers for the governorship and state houses of assembly elections slated for Saturday, March 9.
