The governor of Nasarawa State Abdullahi A. Sule has said that he is from the sector that actively generate employment, building industries and wealth creation. Gov Sule who spoke when he received a delegation of JIBWIS in his office at Government House in Lafia said his pedigree has put him in position where he will not play with providing employment, building of industries to generate wealth for the teaming youths in the state. Apart from this, he further disclosed that his administration will also fucus attention on education, curbing drug abuse and improved security. Gov Sule who thanked the delegation for the visit also commended them for also telling the truth to power in their sermons. Earlier the leader of The Jamaatul Izalatul Biddah Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) and leader of delegation, Ashik Sani Yahaya Jingir has called on
the Federal Government as well as the 36 state governments to
prioritize education and agriculture.
Sheik Jingir equally tasked both the Federal and state governments on
youth employment through agriculture and skills acquisition, urging
young people to take up agriculture and acquire skills to tackle the
menace of poverty.
He equally tasked governments at both levels on curbing the menace of
drug abuse among youths and women, adding that education will enable
citizens understand the thrust of governments while agriculture and
skills acquisition will make the people to become self reliant.
The Islamic cleric while praying for President Muhammadu Buhari to
succeed in his quest to reposition the country. He however cautioned
the President against appointing those who could eventually work
against the interest of the government.
While highlighting the sterling leadership qualities of Governor Abdullahi
Alhaji Sule, the Islamic cleric called on the governor to discharge
his responsibility without fear or favour and in line with the teachings
