NSHA Speaker Inaugurates Ad-hoc Committee To Investigate Activities Of SSA Development Control

Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has inaugurated the adhoc committee constituted by the house to investigate the activities of the Senior Special Assistant(SSA) to Gov. Abdullahi A. Sule of Nas State on Development Control, Arch Stanley Buba.
The Speaker while inaugurating the comittee at the Assembly Complex lafia enjoined members of the committee to do the needful by justifying the confidence reposed on them and come out with a true and reflective report.
Speaker Balarabe made it clear that the house is not out to witch hunt any government official but to ensure that the right thing is done.
He said, “You will recall that the house constituted a committee after the appearance of the SSA on Development Control to the Governor A.A. Sule, Architect Stanley Buba which members were not satisfied with his answers.
“I have tremendous confidence on the committee, and I want to make it clear that we don’t intend to intimidate, harass or embarrass any government official but to sanitize the system, to ensure that the right thing is done.”
“It is my hope that the committee will do justice to the matter and come up with a good and satisfied report.”
Responding, Hon. David Maiyaki the chairman of the ad-hoc committee commended the Speaker for their appointment and promised to do their best in execution of the assignment.
