The North Central Students and Youths Association of Nigeria (NOCSYAN) a non-governmental organization, has presented award of Excellences to the Chairman, Nasarawa State Civil Service Commission, Musa Dangana Giza and the Permanent Secretary of the commission, Bulus M. Amoyi for the outstanding performance in their choosing careers.
NOCSYAN is an Association which drowned its membership from the six states that made up of North Central Zone of Nigeria, with the aimed of foster peace and unity among students as well as sensitizing youths to embrace their academic pursue.
The President of the NOCSYAN, Malam Attaru M. Onerisi who presented the certificates of Excellence to the Awardees noted that, the duo were bestowed with the certificates of Excellence in recognitions of their contributions to the growth of civil service in Nasarawa state and Nigeria as a whole.
The President who spoke through the vice president of the Association, Mr. Amos Kwaghve said, the NOCSYAN followed the Recipients of the awards, by their tracked records on the social media and comments towards their contributions to the development of civil service in the state, adding that, through their efforts, civil service in Nasarawa state is among the best in Nigeria in the area of efficient and effective service delivery.
He called on other states in the federation to emulate Nasarawa state civil service, in order to reform the civil service in the country, as according to him, Nasarawa state civil service operate in line with international best practices.
Malam Attaru encouraged the Chairman and the Permanent Secretary to put in more efforts, so as to ensure that the civil servants in the state key into the reform agenda of Governor Abdullahi A. Sule’s policy of restructuring civil service in the state, for effective service delivery.
He however, appealed to Governor Abdullahi A. Sule to create job opportunities to the teeming unemployed graduates with a view to reducing the rate of youth’s restiveness in the state, just as he sought for financial assistance from government and spirited individuals to enable the union achieve its set objectives.
Responding, the Permanent Secretary in the commission Bulus M. Amoyi, who stood in for the Chairman, Musa Dangana Giza expressed their happiness for the recognitions done to them, and said, the awards bestowed on them was impromptus, stressing that ‘’ for a person or organization whom you don’t know, but follow your services rendered and recognize you with award, is something that you will be grateful to God’’, adding that, the award bestowed on them, would spur them to put more efforts in repositioning the civil service in the state.
Amoyi then urged the civil servants in the state to be sincere and hard working if they wants their dreams realize in the future.
