Political stakeholders in the Western Zone have reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing widespread support following a key decision by Governor Abdullahi A. Sule, pledging to canvass every community to ensure alignment with the governor’s position.
Speaking on the matter, Aliyu Tijjani Ahmad emphasized the urgency of sustained grassroots engagement, noting that supporters would work “from corner to corner” to consolidate backing not only among party loyalists but across the broader population of the zone.
Ahmad further warned that failure to intensify efforts toward securing victory for Aliyu Wadada in the forthcoming election could have long-term consequences for the zone. According to him, any lapse in commitment or organization could result in the Western Zone missing a critical political opportunity and potentially waiting another eight years for a similar chance—an outcome he described as potentially catastrophic.
The remarks underscore growing political momentum in the zone as stakeholders rally behind their preferred candidate, Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, highlighting the high stakes and strategic importance of the upcoming election with Wadada in the ballot as APC flag bearer.
