Stop the Lies: Wadada Never Used Tinubu’s Name, Challenges Accusers to Show Proof

The recent statement credited to certain individuals who call themselves APC stakeholders in Nasarawa State—alleging that Wadada is dropping the name of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to threaten some aspirants—is not only misleading but also a sign of desperation and a deliberate attempt to smear the hard-earned reputation of Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu.
In a statement issued in Lafia on Wednesday by the Wadada media team, said Senator Wadada has never, at any point, met with anyone—publicly or privately—to boast about any supposed special relationship with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a means of intimidating political opponents. Such claims exist only in the imagination of those who appear threatened by his growing acceptance across the state. If there is any verifiable evidence to support these allegations, we challenge the accusers to present it to the public without further delay.
It is both ironic and hypocritical for individuals who have consistently relied on name-dropping and backdoor endorsements to now preach democratic ideals. Senator Wadada’s campaign has remained firmly rooted in engaging the real owners of the mandate—the people. His approach has been clear, consistent, and transparent: to earn support through direct interaction, not through empty claims of political patronage.
Let it be stated unequivocally that Wadada’s political strength is neither fabricated nor imported. It is organic, visible, and spread across the three senatorial zones of Nasarawa State. From Nasarawa South to Nasarawa West and Nasarawa North, his message continues to resonate with a broad spectrum of voters who are eager for credible leadership.
Those peddling these false narratives should redirect their energy toward presenting their own ideas to the electorate, rather than manufacturing distractions. The era of deceiving the people with cheap propaganda is long gone.
Senator Wadada remains focused, undistracted, and committed to a people-driven campaign. No amount of baseless accusations will derail a movement built on genuine connection, widespread support, and a clear vision for the future of Nasarawa State.
