The Executive Chairman of Keana Local Government, Hon. Adamu Aboki, has praised the political experience and grassroots appeal of Ahmed Aliyu Wadada while formally declaring his support for the senator as the preferred gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 elections.
Aboki, also known as Bunun Alagon Makurdi, made his position known during a strategic meeting held at the Keana Local Government Council Secretariat. He described Wadada as a leader with the vision and capacity to consolidate on the developmental strides of the current administration under Abdullahi Sule.
According to the chairman, aligning with Wadada reflects the collective decision already endorsed by Governor Sule, stressing that unity within the party remains critical to sustaining progress in the state. He urged political appointees, party stakeholders, and supporters to respect the governor’s transition plan and rally behind the anointed candidate.
Aboki emphasized that cohesion within the APC would not only strengthen its electoral chances but also ensure continuity in governance and development initiatives across Nasarawa State.
The chairman also used the occasion to reaffirm his loyalty to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging full support for the president’s re-election bid in 2027.
The meeting drew attendance from key political figures, including commissioners, former local government chairmen, and party stakeholders, all of whom expressed solidarity with the leadership’s direction. Participants pledged to mobilize support and work collectively toward securing victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.
