Senator Wadada Completes APC Governorship Screening in Abuja

By Our Reporter

Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has successfully completed the APC governorship screening exercise in Abuja, putting to rest speculations surrounding his possible disqualification from the race by opposition elements.
The screening, which took place on Saturday in the nation’s capital, followed widespread rumors linked to a purported petition addressed to the National Chairman of the APC. However, the successful completion of the exercise is being viewed by supporters and political observers as a strong indication that the allegations and concerns raised against the senator did not affect his eligibility to contest the governorship election in Nasarawa State.
Sources close to the screening committee disclosed that Senator Wadada met all the necessary requirements and participated fully in the exercise without any hindrance.
In recent days, political circles had been awash with reports from opposition groups suggesting that Senator Wadada’s governorship ambition could face setbacks due to the petition. The development generated intense debate among party supporters and stakeholders across the state.
However, with the screening now concluded, attention is expected to shift to the next phase of the governorship process as aspirants continue consultations and campaign activities ahead of the party primaries.
