The Osoko of Obi, Alhaji Umar Dangiwa Orume, has pledged to sensitize his subjects on the need to follow the path of leadership as enshrined in the Holy Books.
Speaking when he received Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu during the ongoing statewide tour at his palace today, the Osoko of Obi stated that Governor Abdullahi Sule is the leader of Nasarawa State and has selected Senator Wadada as his preferred aspirant. Therefore, he urged everyone to support and follow the governor’s direction.
The traditional ruler recalled that sometime ago, traditional rulers from Nasarawa West visited his palace during their tour across the state to advocate for the rotation of the governorship to Nasarawa West. According to him, they all agreed to abide by the governor’s decision.
“Now that the governor has made his decision, we can only pray to Almighty Allah to actualize this project,” the Osoko said.

Earlier, Senator Wadada highlighted the efforts made by Governor Abdullahi Sule toward producing a consensus candidate from Nasarawa West and explained how they all agreed to support whoever the governor selected among them.
He also appealed for the blessings and support of traditional rulers across the state.
