The Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government (SSG), Dr. Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, has said that Governor Abdullahi Sule’s decision to back Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada as his preferred successor was guided by wisdom, experience, and divine direction from Almighty God.
Magaji, who is also the Coordinator of the National Renewed Hope Ambassadors (NRHA) project, stated this during a strategic meeting of stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State held over the weekend.
The meeting witnessed the formal endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election in 2027, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada for the Nasarawa State governorship, and Dr. Faisal Shuaib as the APC senatorial aspirant for Nasarawa West.
Addressing party faithful at the gathering, the SSG explained the political direction of the state and urged members of the APC to remain united and committed ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He called on party supporters across Toto LGA and the state to rally behind President Tinubu, Senator Wadada, and Dr. Faisal Shuaib in order to sustain development and strengthen the APC’s dominance in Nasarawa State.
Speaking during the event, the APC Chairman in Toto Local Government Area, Alhaji Salihu Fancy, formally announced the endorsement of the three leaders, describing them as credible and capable of promoting unity, continuity, and development at both the state and national levels.
Also speaking, the Toto APC Elders Forum led by Alhaji Musa Agidi reaffirmed its loyalty to the APC-led administration in the state and pledged massive support for Senator Wadada and Dr. Faisal Shuaib ahead of the 2027 elections.
The stakeholders expressed confidence that the endorsements would further consolidate the party’s strength in Toto LGA and across Nasarawa West Senatorial District.
