

The Andoma of Doma, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ahmadu Ogah Onawo, has described Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu as a disciplined and respectful politician, urging his supporters and those of other aspirants to emulate his peaceful approach to politics.
The royal father made the remarks on Tuesday while receiving Senator Wadada and his entourage at his palace in Doma.
Speaking during the visit, Andoma warned against violence in politics, describing it as retrogressive and harmful to the progress of society. He appealed to politicians and their supporters to conduct themselves with decorum and embrace peaceful political engagement.
He further called on all political actors to follow the senator’s example of discipline and respect in their dealings with others.
Earlier, Senator Wadada said he and his team visited the palace to seek royal blessings ahead of the political season. He assured the traditional ruler of his commitment to promoting and protecting traditional institutions in the state if elected.
The senator also presented his scorecard and unveiled his “Heart Agenda” to Andoma during the visit.
Senator Wadada was accompanied to Andoma of Doma’s palace by the Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Oyanki; the Executive Chairman of Doma Local Government Area, Hon. Jonathan Okuba; Hon. Musa Ibrahim, member representing Doma South in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly; Dr. Joseph Kigbu; and members of the Senator Wadada Campaign Council.
