A former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scribe in Nasarawa State, Hon. Ibrahim Hamza, has called on All Progressives Congress (APC) members from Nasarawa North Senatorial District to turn out in large numbers and vote for Governor Abdullahi Sule in today’s APC senatorial primary election.
Hamza, who is now aligned with political stakeholders supporting the APC in the district, made the appeal ahead of the party’s primary election, stressing the need for unity and strong participation from members and party faithful across the zone.
He urged APC members in Nasarawa North to “come out en masse” and ensure what he described as a decisive show of support for Governor Sule, noting that a high turnout would strengthen the party’s internal democratic process and consolidate leadership in the state.
The appeal comes as the APC conducts its senatorial primary election in Nasarawa North, where members are expected to select the party’s flag bearer for the Nasarawa North senatorial seat in the forthcoming general elections.
He noted that Governor Sule, over the last seven years, has done a great deal for the people of the Akwanga zone through appointments into sensitive positions, the provision of infrastructure such as flyovers and roads, and the relocation of the specialist hospital to Akwanga, among other achievements.
Hon. Ibrahim Hamza, who is also the Karfen Dawakin Lafia, stressed that the people of Nasarawa North can only repay Governor Sule by voting for him in both the primary and general elections to represent them at the National Assembly, so he can continue delivering quality representation and development projects to the people.
