
Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu has expressed appreciation for the invaluable role of traditional institutions in promoting unity, peace, and development, reaffirming his commitment to working with all stakeholders in the collective pursuit of a more prosperous Nasarawa State.
Wadada made the remarks during a courtesy visit to the Emir of Nasarawa, His Royal Highness Alhaji Ibrahim Usman Jibril, as part of his ongoing statewide tour aimed at interfacing with the people of Nasarawa State and strengthening grassroots consultations.
The senator said the visit was an opportunity to seek the blessings and royal support of the revered monarch as he continues engagements across the state in line with his political and developmental consultations.
During the meeting, Senator Wadada presented his scorecard to the Emir and highlighted his vision for the progress and development of Nasarawa State through his “HEARTS Agenda,” which he described as a roadmap for inclusive growth and sustainable development.
He stressed the importance of collaboration between political leaders, traditional rulers, and other critical stakeholders in addressing the challenges facing the state and improving the welfare of the people.
Wadada also acknowledged the contributions of the traditional institution in fostering peace and harmony within communities, noting that royal fathers remain key partners in the development process.
The visit formed part of the senator’s wider consultations and outreach across Nasarawa State as he continues to engage residents and leaders on issues affecting the state’s future.
