Rimi Uku Community Organises Grand Reception to Celebrate APC Primary Victory


The Rimi Uku Community in Lafia has announced plans to host a grand reception in celebration of the victory recorded in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries.
According to the organisers, the event is scheduled to hold on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Rimi Uku, Lafia, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The celebration is expected to attract prominent political leaders, government officials, party stakeholders, and supporters from across Nasarawa State.
The reception is being organised in honour of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State and APC Senatorial Flag Bearer for Nasarawa North, as well as Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, the APC governorship candidate for the state.
Governor Sule is also expected to serve as the Special Guest of Honour at the event, while members of the State APC Working Committee, commissioners, senior special advisers, special advisers, and personal assistants are expected to attend.
The Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel A. Akabe, alongside executive chairmen of local government councils, councillors, ward APC executives, and members of the Wadada Youth Ambassadors, are also billed to grace the occasion.
Other dignitaries expected at the reception include the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Shuibu Labaran Magaji, PhD (SAN); the Accountant General of Nasarawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Musa; former Director-General of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr. Faisal Shuaibu; and Ibrahim Abdullahi Adongarin Lafia.
The event will be hosted by Ambassador Musa Ilu Mohammed, with Ambassador Umaru Sulaiman Azores, Mai Angwan Rimi Uku, Lafia, serving as Chief Host.
Organisers said the reception is aimed at celebrating what they described as a historic political victory while promoting unity, progress, and development within the community and the state at large.
Residents, party supporters, and members of the public have been invited to participate in the celebration.
