
The APC Gubernatorial Candidate in Nasarawa state Senator Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District, has expressed confidence that Governor Abdullahi Sule’s emergence as the Sun Newspaper Governor of the Year 2026 will further motivate him to sustain the pace of development and continue implementing people-oriented policies across the state.
Wadada stated this while congratulating the governor on the prestigious recognition, describing the award as a well-deserved honour that reflects his commitment to purposeful leadership, infrastructural development, economic transformation, and human capital advancement in Nasarawa State.
According to the Senator, the honour is not only a personal achievement for Governor Sule but also a source of pride for the people of Nasarawa State, whose support and contributions have played a significant role in the progress being acknowledged by one of Nigeria’s foremost media organizations.
He noted that the award, conferred by the Board of Editors of The Sun Newspaper, highlights the visible impact of the governor’s policies in key sectors, including infrastructure, investment promotion, education, healthcare, industrialization, and social welfare.
Wadada particularly commended the administration’s efforts in attracting investments, expanding educational opportunities, strengthening healthcare delivery, and creating an enabling environment for economic growth and job creation.
