National Assembly trains Nasarawa Assembly management on legislative administration.

The National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies NILDS, National Assembly Abuja is training the management of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly on Legislative Administration.

To this end, a 5-day capacity building training on legislative administration is holding in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The retreat which commenced 8th of this month is expected to end by 12th of this month and it has in attendance as participants the Clerk, Deputy Clerks and Directors of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

Tagged “NILDS 5-Day Capacity Building Training on Legislative Administration for Clerk, DCs and Directors of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly” was aimed at equipping participants with the high profile knowledge on legislative administration to enhance good governance in the State.

The 5-day training workshop holding at the headquarters of National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies NILDS permanent site, Airport Road Abuja had all the Deputy Clerks and Directors from the Nasarawa State House of Assembly as participants.

The lead Consultant at the training Dr. Muhammed O. Amali among other facilitators welcomed participants to the all important summit as the make various presentations on the purpose of the workshop and it’s takeaways.

They spoke extensively on legislative administration and other areas of concern tasking participants to embrace the knowledge gain and stepdown on return to their various offices to enhance legislative practices.

The Clerk of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Mr. Ibraheem Abdulaziz Musa who spoke through the Deputy Clerk Mr. Paul Okugya appreciated NILDS leadership for equipping on them more knowledge and expertise on legislative management promising to step down the knowledge gain during the 5-day retreat.

While describing the exercise and experience as worthwhile he thanked the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Dr. Danladi Jatau for giving them the opportunity and assured of enhanced performance and support at all times for the benefit of the House and the State.
