FULafia holds 44th Inaugural Lecture Series, Wednesday.

All is now set for the Federal University of Lafia to hold its 44th Inaugural Lecture Series.

The occasion according to a statement by the inaugural lecture committee will be chaired by Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida with Prof. Mallam Al-Bishak as the presenter on a topic, Egyptology, Egyptomania and Khemetology, the Literature and the Black African Literary Masters of Homer, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle among others.

The statement reads in parts.

“The Vice – Chancellor Federal University of Lafia, Professor Mohammed Isa Kida, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate and the University Community, invite the general public to the 44th Inaugural Lecture Series of the Institution”

“With the topic, Egyptology, Egyptomania and Khemetology : Literature and the Black African Literary Masters of Homer, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Etc” with photo exhibition of Ancient Artifacts”

“Chairman of the occasion Professor Mohammed Isa Kida, presenter Professor Mallam Al-Bishak”

“Date : Wednesday June, 24, 2026. Time : 2pm. Venue : MIS Multipurpose Hall, Permanent Site Campus, Federal University of Lafia”

The statement added that there is also going to be book presentation, “Voices For Al-Bishak” an Anthology of poems edited by Ebika Anthony in honour of Professor Mallam Al-Bishak immediately after the program.
